30 January 2012 – Aggravated Robbery & Assault – Subway – Salisbury Plains

Police have arrested a man in relation to an aggravated robbery at a Subway restaurant. 

At about 8.25am on Thursday 19 January, a man entered the restaurant on Main North Road Salisbury Plain and assaulted a 17-year-old female staff member before stealing the till and contents. 

A 41-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested by Elizabeth detectives yesterday and charged with aggravated robbery. 

He was remanded in police custody and will face the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today.
