Police are investigating the theft of a cigarette machine during a ‘ram-raid’ in Sydney’s south-west this morning.

About 6am today (Tuesday 7 February 2012), a vehicle believed to be a silver-coloured Subaru Forrester was reversed into the front glass doors of a licensed premise on Josephine Street, Riverwood.

The two men then loaded a cigarette vending machine into the boot of the vehicle, before driving from the scene.

The vehicle was last seen driving east on Josephine Street.

Police were contacted and attended a short time later, securing a crime scene that was examined by specialist forensic officers.
