7 February 2012 – Armed Robbery – Claremont Hotel Bottle Shop – Glenorchy

Glenorchy Detectives advise that they are investigating a further armed robbery, in addition to the two that occurred at the Caltex Service Station Glenorchy overnight Saturday 4 February 2012.

Last night, Monday 6 February 2012, around 9.50pm a male person armed with what has been described as a “large bread knife” threatened a female staff member at the Claremont Hotel Bottle Shop and after demanding money grabbed cash from the cash register.  The male then ran from the area. 

Glenorchy Detectives are focusing their investigation on one particular individual they believe is responsible for all three armed robberies.
