Police have charged a 20-year-old man from the Gold Coast in relation to the alleged armed robbery of a convenience store at Alicia Street at Southport on Saturday night, May 21.
It is alleged the man was arrested in Cleveland this morning following police investigations.
He has been charged with armed robbery and is expected to face Cleveland Magistrates Court today.
Investigations are continuing.
