Police investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Macgregor on February 3 have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.

At approximately 11.30pm, a man armed with a knife entered the Kessels Road service station and threatened a female store attendant.

The man fled the scene with a sum of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his thirties with a heavy build.

At the time of the offence, he was wearing a black hooded top and dark shorts.
