Police are investigating a robbery that occurred this morning in Sunnybank Hills.
Around 4.10am a man entered a Calam Road service station and approached the counter.
He has asked the console operator for cash before jumping over the counter and grabbing a sum of money from the till.
The man has then fled the scene, and was last seen running in the direction of Seeana Street.
No one was physically injured as a result of this incident.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, of a slim build and believed to be in his early 20s. He has short red hair and a distinctive tattoo between his shoulder blades that says ‘Aussie’ in calligraphy style writing.
He was last seen wearing dark jeans, no shirt and had a black shirt that was tied over his hair.
Police investigations into the incident are continuing.
