Police are investigating the armed robbery of a man in a hotel car park off Kelvin Grove Road, Red Hill early this morning.
Around 12.40am the 18-year-old Redland Bay man was approached by another man asking for a cigarette. When the victim declined he was allegedly punched and fell to the ground.
A second offender approached the victim on the ground and allegedly produced a knife and demanded his wallet.
Both offenders then left on foot down Kelvin Grove Road.
The first offender is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, approximately 188cms tall and aged in his mid 20s. He was wearing a black v-neck t-shirt, blue jeans and has short dark tight curly hair. He has a tribal tattoo on his upper right arm.
The second offender is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 193cms tall and aged in his mid 20s. He was wearing a tight fitting white t-shirt with a black and white print on the front, skinny blue jeans and had a shaved head.
