Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at the BP service station on Bridge Road Para Hills overnight.

Just before 1.30am, a teenaged boy forced entry through the closed doors of the service station.  He was armed with a knife and threatened the console operator before fleeing with cash on foot.  He was last seen heading north along Bridge Road.

The console operator was not injured during the robbery.

The youth is described as aged about 15 years, of Aboriginal appearance, 160cm tall, slim build and wearing a grey hoodie and cream shorts.

Police searched the area with the assistance of a police dog and managed to pick up the suspect’s track but have been unable to locate him.
