Police are investigating an armed robbery at a hotel in Pyrmont today.
About 2.05pm (Sunday 24 June 2012), a man entered a pub on Union Street armed with a knife.
He threatened the 23-year-old male employee and took an amount of cash from the till before fleeing the premises.
Police from City Central Local Area Command attended the scene and established a crime scene that was examined by forensic specialists.
The man has been described as being of Caucasian appearance, 35 to 40 years old, 190cm tall, slim build with a moustache. He was wearing a green jacket with dark-coloured pants and shoes.
No-one was injured.
