Townsville Police have charged a 15-year-old boy after the alledged armed robbery of a drive-through bottle shop at North Ward yesterday afternoon.
It will be alleged a boy entered the Eyre Street store around 4.30pm before threatening an employee with a knife and obtaining a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The 15-year-old Garbutt boy was charged with one count each of armed robbery, enter with intent and stealing.
He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.
