16 July 2012 – Theft – Bottle Shop – Tweed Heads

Tweed Heads Police are investigating the theft of alcohol from a Tweed Heads bottle shop yesterday.
About 5.40pm (15 July, 2012), a man entered the Wharf Street store and selected a bottle of Scotch from a display. The man attempted to leave the store without paying. The man was challenged by the 37-year- old male store attendant.
The man threatened the attendant with the bottle before running from the store and was last seen north in Wharf Street.
The man is described as 25 to 30 years of age, 180cm tall, medium build with light brown scruffy hair.
