Police are appealing for a man to come forward following an attempted armed robbery in Collingwood on Saturday.
It is believed the victim was approached by a man allegedly armed with a knife outside a convenience store on Smith Street around 8am.
The bandit made demands for cash before the victim fled into the convenience store.
The victim was not injured, however he did not stay at the scene or provide details to attending police.
Investigators urge this man to contact police and have released an image of him to assist with their enquiries.
