Police investigating an armed robbery at a newsagency in Sydney’s south-west are today releasing CCTV images in the hope it may encourage someone to come forward with information.
About 6.30am on Tuesday 29 May 2012, two armed masked men entered the newsagency on Hill Road, Lurnea.
A 41-year-old male staff member was allegedly threatened by the men, who demanded cash.
The men were given a small amount of cash and left in a stolen red Ford Laser which had been parked outside.
This vehicle was later found burnt out nearby.
Officers from Liverpool Local Area Command are investigating the robbery and want to speak to the two men depicted in CCTV images who may be able to assist police with their inquiries.
