Police from Brisbane Water Local Area Command have charged a man following an armed robbery at a service station in Lambton yesterday.
About 1.30am (Wednesday 22 August 2012), a man allegedly entered a service station on Croudace Road, armed with a knife.
He threatened the male employee and demanded cash.
It is alleged the man took an amount of cash from the employee before fleeing the store.
About 9pm yesterday (Wednesday 22 August 2012), police arrested a 24-year-old man outside a house on Cristina Place, Niagara Park.
He was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon and break and enter house and steal value less than $60,000.
He was refused bail to appear at Gosford Local Court later today (Thursday 23 August 2012).
Police will also allege the man broke into a house on Percy Street, North Lambton on Sunday 29 July 2012 and stole an amount of property.
