Detectives have made further arrests following investigations into an armed robbery at Chermside as well as a number of recent jewellery thefts across southeast Queensland.

Detectives from Metropolitan North Region, North Coast Region, Southern Region and State Crime Operations Command commenced Operation Kilo Ironclad in response to the theft of a significant amount of jewellery, with police recovering a large amount of jewellery, as well as a sawn-off rifle, during the course of the operation.

A 35-year-old Zillmere man has been charged with 13 counts of enter premises with intent, two counts each of wilful damage, attempted enter premises, one count each of arson (motor vehicle) and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He is due to face Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on August 29.

A 26-year-old Gaythorne woman was charged with two counts of receiving tainted property, one count each of fraud, forgery and possess utensil (drug). She is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 30.

A 31-year-old Coomera woman was charged with one count of receiving tainted property and six counts of fraud. She is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 24.

As a result of investigations subsequent to Operation Ironclad a 36-year-old Deagon man and a 25-year-old Warner man have both been charged with one count of armed robbery following the robbery of a Chermside convenience store on August 13. They remain in custody and are due to face the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court this morning.
