Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with investigations into the attempted armed robbery of a bottle shop at Urangan on August 19.
Around 7.30pm, a man entered the Elizabeth Street bottle shop and threatened the attendant with what appeared to be a plastic replica hand gun. He demanded money however the male attendant refused.
The man fled on foot empty handed and was last seen heading towards the botanical gardens.
The manis described as being in his 30s to 40s, Caucasian in appearance, 173cm tall, medium build with long straggly black hair.
He was wearing glasses, a dark cap, black top with white stripes on the sleeves and black trousers.
