Investigations are underway after a Tarragindi convenience store was robbed last night by a man armed with a rifle.

Around 9pm a man entered the Gapap Street store and confronted the two male employees with a rifle carried in a bag.

After demanding money the man left the store and was last seen on Gapap Street.

The man is described as being of medium build and 178cm tall. He was wearing a black beanie, a navy blue tracksuit, gloves and had a black scarf concealing his face.

The two employees, 22 and 47, were not physically harmed during the incident.
