Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at Southport this afternoon.
About 3.40pm a man entered the Marine Parade store and threatened the male attendant with a knife and demanded money.
The man fled on foot with an amount of cash.
The attendant was not hurt.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 30s, 170cm tall, solid build with a clean shaven bald head. He was wearing a black hooded jumper.
