Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a service station in Preston on Friday 31 August.
Detectives have been told that a man entered the store located on the corner of Albert Road and Murray Road just after 7.30pm.
It’s alleged the offender was armed with a pair of scissors and made threats to the staff member demanding cash and cigarettes.
The bandit fled towards Murray Road with cigarettes and a small amount of cash.
No one was injured.
The offender is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged between 25-30 and 180cm tall.
He was wearing a black ‘hoodie’ jumper with ‘G-UNIT’ on the front.
Investigators have released an image of a man that may assist with their enquiries.
