Police are investigating the armed robbery of a wild-life sanctuary ticket office at Dakabin this afternoon.
About 2.25pm a man approached the ticket office on Alma Road and threatened the female attendant with a firearm.
The man stole a sum of cash and a mobile phone before fleeing on foot. He was later seen driving off in a tray back utility.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance with ginger coloured hair in a pony-tail.
He was wearing long khaki coloured trousers, a long sleeve blue and orange high visibility shirt, a black baseball cap and a cloth covered his face. He was carrying a black nap sack.
