Police are investigating after the armed robbery of a Goodna licensed premises early this morning.
At around 12.30am two men armed with a knife approached a male staff member after closing time at the Queen Street premises, and demanded cash.
The staff member complied and the two men left the hotel with a sum of money, and were last seen running down Alice Street into Martha Street.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
One of the men is described as being of Asian appearance, around 182cm tall with, a solid build and brown hair. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, dark colored pants, black gloves and white shoes, as had material covering his face.
The other man is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, around 182cm tall with a solid build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, dark pants with two white stripes down each side, white shoes, gloves and also had black material covering his face.
Investigations are continuing.
