9 September 2012 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Toowoomba

Toowoomba Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a convenience store in Toowoomba this evening.
Around 7.45pm a man armed with a knife entered the Alderley Street store and threatened a female employee, demanding cash.
The employee refused to hand over any money, and the man fled the store on foot.
The man is described as Caucasian, around 168cm tall, with a proportionate build. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper, and a scarf wrapped around his face.
Investigations are continuing.
