Police are investigating the armed robbery of a petrol station at Allenstown this morning.
About 3.50am a man entered the store area of the Lower Dawson Road petrol station and demanded money while threatening the attendant with a knife.
The man fled on foot with a sum of cash.
The man is described as having an olive complexion, 183cms tall, wearing a dark baseball cap, dark blue trousers, dark blue long sleeved shirt and blue dress shoes.
