21 September 2012 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Clayfield

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bottle shop at Clayfield tonight.

Around 8.15pm two men entered the Junction Road store, one of them armed with what appeared to be a firearm before demanding money from the employee.

One of the men then stole cash from the till before fleeing the scene on foot.

No one was injured during the incident.

The men are described as being aged in their 20s and one of them having an Australian accent.

Investigations are continuing
