22 September 2012 – Armed Robbery – Supermarket – Wamuran

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a supermarket at Wamuran this morning.
Around 9.15am a man entered the store armed with a syringe before demanding staff at two registers open their tills.
The attendants complied and the man stole a sum of cash from each till before fleeing the store.
The man is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, approximately 165cm tall with a solid build.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
