Police have charged a 23-year-old man after the armed robbery of a Redbank Plains service station last night.
It will be alleged that around 10.15pm, a man entered the business on the corner of Henty Drive and Kruger Parade and threatened a staff member.
It will be further alleged that he fled the scene with a sum of cash in a vehicle.
He was located by police a short time later and taken into custody.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
He has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
