Campbelltown Detectives have released a CCTV image and are appealing for information following an attempted robbery of a woman in Sydney’s south west.

On Wednesday 12 September 2012, a 30-year-old woman was at a licensed premises in Camden Road, Campbelltown.

Later that evening she left the club with an amount of money and returned to her vehicle, which was parked in the undercover car park.

She was then allegedly assaulted by a man who was in the car park. He fled when a number of bystanders came to her assistance.

Detectives would like to speak to the man in the image as they believe that he may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man in the image is described as being of Caucasian appearance and aged in his 20s.

He is wearing a dark coloured hooded jacket with a red emblem on the front and dark tracksuit pants with a white stripe on the sides.
