5 October 2012 – Armed Robbery – Takeaway Shop – Royal Park

Police are investigating and attempt robbery at a takeaway shop on Tapleys Hill Road, Royal Park.
At about 7.15pm, a man allegedly armed with what looked like a toy gun threatened the store owner.
The offender fled on foot when his demands were refused and on seeing a passing police car.
The offender is described as Caucasian, 170cm slim build and with black shoulder length hair.
He was wearing a black balaclava, a black long sleeve knitted jumper and was last seen west on Poplar Street.
