22 October 2012 – Armed Robbery – Bakery – Rothwell

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bakery at Rothwell this morning.
Just before 5am, two men entered the business on Anzac Avenue before demanding money from the shop assistant.
One of the men threatened the employee with what appeared to be a weapon hidden in his clothing.
A sum of cash was stolen from the premises before the pair fled the scene.
One man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 170cm tall with a slim build.
The other man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 183cm tall with a proportionate build.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
