Police have charged three Beaudesert men in relation to three separate incidents in Surfers Paradise over the weekend where women reported having their handbags stolen.

The offences occurred in the early hours of Saturday October 27, 2012 at Ferny Avenue, The Esplanade and Palm Avenue.

All three incidents were believed to be linked.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with three counts of robbery in company and two counts of attempted robbery in company.

A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old man have each been charged with robbery in company and attempted robbery in company.

The men are due to face Southport Magistrates Court on November 20, 2012.
