Police are investigating the armed robbery of a food store in Redbank Plains this evening.

Around 6.40pm, a man has entered the store on Kruger Parade and produced a knife.

He has made demands for money, and the attendant has complied and handed the man a sum of cash in a bag.

The man was last seen jumping into what is believed to be a green sedan on Hently Drive.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is descried as being around 183cms tall, Pacific Islander in appearance and of a solid build.

He was last seeing wearing black sunglasses, a black beanie, a long sleeved black top and black pants.

Police continue to investigate.
