A man will face court today following his alleged involvement in the armed robbery of a bottle shop at Prospect earlier this year.
About 4:30pm, Monday 27 August 2012, three men entered the bottle shop on Blacktown Road, Prospect.
The trio waited for several customers to leave the store and approached a 66-year-old male store employee.

Police will further allege cash from the register and several cases of pre-mixed spirits were stolen. They also unsuccessfully attempted to gain access to an ATM before fleeing out the back door.
After investigations by detectives from Blacktown Local Area Command, a 33-year-old man was arrested at his home address in Lamonerie Street, Toongabbie.
He was taken to Parramatta Police Station where he was charged with robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon.
He was refused bail and will appear before Parramatta Local Court today.
On Wednesday 29 August, 2012, detectives charged a 35-year-old Toongabbie man and 23-year-old Blacktown man over this robbery.
