6 November 2012 – Armed Robbery – Supermarket – Ooralea

Investigations are underway into the armed robbery of an Ooralea supermarket this evening.
Around 8.30pm a man entered the Peak Downs Highway store and grabbed the female attendant by the throat threatening her with a knife and demanding money.
After taking an undisclosed amount of cash he then left the store.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance with blonde short hair. He was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and yellow hi-vis shirt.
The 22-year-old woman received minor injuries to her arm from the knife which did not require medical treatment.
