9 November 2012 – Armed Robbery – Licensed Venue – North Rockhampton

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a North Rockhampton licensed premises this evening.

Around 10.45pm a man entered the Lakes Creek Road hotel armed with a firearm and threatened a female staff member.

The man fled the scene with a sum of cash, and was last seen heading in the direction of Water Street.

Police are working with those involved to identify the offender.

Investigations are continuing.
