Police are appealing for information after a robbery at a south-western Sydney beauty salon overnight.

About 9pm yesterday (Thursday 14 November 2012),  two males entered a beauty salon at Duntroon Street at Hurlstone Park.

The males threatened a staff member, client and the client’s  nine-year-old daughter with a knife and wooden club.

They demanded money and fled from the salon with the victim’s handbags.

They were last seen getting into a waiting vehicle being driven by a third person and were last seen heading east on Hamden Street Hurlstone Park.  There were no reports of physical injury as a result of the robbery.

The first man was described as male, aged 18-22 years with fair skin, about 160cm tall with a thin build and wearing a black balaclava.

The second man was described as being 18-22 years, with fair skin, about 167 cm, fat build wearing a black balaclava.

The driver of the vehicle was described as male, 18-20-years-old, of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean  appearance with short brown hair

A crime scene was established and processed by specialist forensic personnel.
