Officers from the Regional Investigation Unit are calling for public assistance in their investigation into two robberies. At 9.30pm on Tuesday 4 December 2012 a male person entered the Beaconsfield Newsagency and Mini Mart in South Street, White Gum Valley. He brandished a knife and demanded the female attendant open the till. Once the till was opened he removed a quantity of cash and ran from the store. The man is described as being in his 40s, tanned complexion, slim build, 162 to 172 cm tall, brown hair, with a beard. In the first instance he was wearing blue jeans and a green and white checked shirt. On that occasion he was in company with a woman. Both can be seen in the attached photos.
