A woman has been charged following a glassing incident at a sports club in Warilla yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the McGregor Avenue club about 6.20pm (Monday 4 March, 2013) due to a domestic dispute in the gaming area.
Officers located a 32-year-old Barrack Heights man suffering a deep laceration to his face.
He was taken to Shellharbour Hospital where he is expected to undergo emergency surgery.
Investigations led detectives to arrest a 42-year-old woman at her Barrack Heights home about 8.30pm.
She was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station where she was charged with recklessly cause grievous bodily harm.
She was given conditional bail and will appear in Wollongong Local Court on 14 March, 2013
A 25-year-old man from Happy Valley has been charged with aggravated assault causing harm after another man was allegedly struck in the face with a glass in a bar in October last year.
Sturt CIB detectives arrested the man on Sunday following an investigation into a serious glassing offence that occurred at a bar in Glenelg on October 28, 2012.
During the incident the victim, a 52-year-old Adelaide man, had a pint glass smashed in his face causing a severe cut to his left eye.
The accused has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on February 28.
A man has been stabbed with a broken beer bottle and another charged following the incident after a brawl at a bottle shop in Cooma last night.
About 8.30pm on Saturday 1 December 2012 Police from Monaro Local Area Command were called to a bottle shop in Sharp Street.
Police have been told that there was an earlier altercation between the occupants of a car in the driveway and several customers who were entering the store.
Upon police arrival officers arrested a 22-year-old man. A 25-year-old man left the scene prior to police arrival.
A 33-year-old man was located with lacerations to his chest after allegedly being glassed twice with a broken beer bottle. He was conveyed to Cooma Hospital for treatment with minor lacerations to his stomach and later released.

The 22-year-old man was charged with affray and common assault. The local man was given strict conditional bail to appear at Cooma Local Court on 9 January 2013.
Today (Sunday 2 December 2012), police interviewed a 25-year-old man in relation to the incident at the Bombala Police Station. He assisted police with their inquiries and it is anticipated he will be charged with armed with intent to commit an indictable offence and affray.
Police continue with their inquiries and it is possible that further people will be charged.
A man has been charged over an alleged glassing assault at a hotel in Parramatta earlier this week.
About 9.30pm on Thursday 29 November 2012, a 39-year-old man was inside a hotel on James Ruse Drive in Parramatta, when was allegedly involved in a confrontation with a 45-year-old man.
It’s alleged the 39-year-old man followed the younger man outside and poured the contents of a drink over the 45-year-old’s head before smashing the glass into the left side of his face.
Police will further allege the 39-year-old man then punched the 45-year-old to the face a number of times until staff and patrons intervened. The younger man left the hotel and police from Rosehill Local Area Command were contacted.
Detectives patrolling the area spotted the 39-year-old man walking on nearby Alfred Street and he was placed under arrest.
The man was conveyed to Auburn Hospital, under guard, where he underwent surgery for severed tendons to his right hand.
The 45-year-old man was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment of his facial injuries.
Yesterday (Saturday 1 December 2012), the 39-year-old Gorokan man was released from hospital and taken to Parramatta Police Station.
There he was charged with wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and refused bail to appear at the Parramatta Bail Court later today (Sunday 2 December 2012).
