Detectives investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Kingaroy last night have released images of two people who may be able to assist with inquiries.

Just before 11pm, the pair walked into the Youngman Street business armed with garden tool and demanded money from the male attendant. The employee refused, and when they attempted to leave the premises the main glass door locked causing them to be stuck inside.

As a result, one of them took a fire extinguisher off the wall and smashed a freezer before the second used it to smash a glass door and large glass window.

The pair then crawled through a hole in the glass with a stolen charity tin before leaving in a black 2011 Ford Fiesta parked at the back of the service station, believed to have been stolen from a Murgon address.

The employee was uninjured during the incident.

Investigations indicate the same pair forced entry to a licensed premises in Fitzroy Street at Nanango a short time later where a number of bottles of alcohol were taken.

Police believe the two people pictured may have information to assist their investigations.

Anyone who may recognise them is urged to contact police.

A man has been charged following the alleged armed robbery of a service station in Koongal on August 10.

It will be alleged around 9.20pm a man approached the business on Thozet Road riding a child-sized scooter.

He then went inside the store and entered a staff area where he allegedly threatened a 22-year-old female attendant with a nearby pair of scissors, demanding she open the till.

The woman complied and the man allegedly removed a sum of cash before demanding cigarettes.

The man then fled the store on the scooter with the money and cigarettes.

A 28-year-old Zilzie man was arrested yesterday and charged with armed robbery and is due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on August 13.

Police have released images of a man they wish to speak with in relation to the armed robbery of a service station in Koongal last night.

At around 9.20pm a man approached the business on Thozet Road riding a child-sized scooter.

He then went inside the store and entered a staff area where he threatened a 22-year-old female attendant with a nearby pair of scissors, demanding she open the till.

The woman complied and the man removed a sum of cash before demanding cigarettes.

The man then fled the store with the money and cigarettes, riding the scooter towards Rockonia Road.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 170cm tall with a solid build and black hair cut in a distinctive mohawk style.

The man was wearing an orange high-vis jumper with dark coloured cargo pants, work boots and was carrying a duffel bag (pictured).

Anyone who may recognise the man or know his whereabouts it urged to contact police.

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Seaford overnight.

About 12.45am on Saturday, 11 August three men entered a service station on Commercial Road and threatened staff, and then stole cigarettes and cash.

One of the men was armed with a knife.

The trio fled the scene, and no one was injured.

The suspects were all wearing hooded jumpers, and had covered their faces.

Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a 19-year-old man today following an alleged armed robbery on 14 August.

The Dareton man will face two counts of armed robbery at Mildura Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.

The charges relate to an alleged armed robbery at a service station on Fifteenth Street in Mildura about 2.40am.

Police investigating a series of armed robberies on the state’s Mid North Coast have released CCTV images in an appeal for public assistance.

About 4am on Sunday 8 July 2018, four males, armed with a jemmy bar and torch, broke into a service station on The Bucketts Way at Krambach.

The males assaulted a 27-year-old male employee before stealing cash and a large amount of cigarettes.

The employee suffered minor injuries and did not seek medical treatment.

Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad commenced an investigation.

Police believe the armed robbery may be linked to another incident at a licensed premises on High Street, Wauchope.

About 8.50pm on Sunday 27 May 2018, employees were closing up when three males, armed with a samurai sword, wooden club and machete, entered the hotel.

The males jumped over the counter before threatening and assaulting staff. A 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman suffered minor injuries.

The males stole cash, wallets, mobile phones, and a knife before fleeing the scene.

Investigators have released images of a group of males who may be able to assist with their inquiries into the two incidents.

The males have been described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, and of a slim build. In the footage, they are depicted wearing hooded jumpers, tracksuit pants, and running shoes.

A man has been charged after allegedly robbing a Browns Plains service-station armed with a knife this morning.

It is alleged that the man entered the Browns Plains Road business around 7.45am, approached two female employees at the front counter and produced what appeared to be a knife, making demands for money.

The staff members complied with the demands and the man then allegedly ran from the store with a sum of cash, a carbonated energy drink and a lighter.

Police attended the scene and conducted patrols of the area, during which a man was located a short distance, at a park on Browns Plains Road, where he was arrested.

Further patrols located the alleged weapon discarded nearby.

A 24-year-old Loganlea man has now been charged with one count of armed-robbery.

He is due to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on August 15, 2018.

Detectives from Geelong Crime Investigation Unit have arrested four teenagers as part of their ongoing investigation into an armed robbery at a Lara service station last month.

Police were called to the Mill Road business just before 1.40am on 24 July following reports four male offenders, allegedly armed with hammers, smashed their way into the store and stole cash and cigarettes.

It is believed a fifth offender remained in a waiting vehicle, being a silver Mercedes-Benz believed to have been stolen from an aggravated burglary in Balwyn North on 22 July.

This morning investigators executed search warrants at addresses in Brookfield, Wyndham Vale, Mill Park and Epping.

A 16-year-old Brookfield boy, 16-year-old Wyndham Vale boy, 17-year-old Mill Park boy and a 17-year-old Epping boy were arrested during the operation.

Detectives are also investigating whether the armed robbery is linked to an aggravated burglary in Fairview Avenue, Camberwell on 25 July.

The teens remain in custody and are assisting police with their enquiries into all three incidents.

Police are appealing for information after an armed robbery at a Dubbo service station today.

About 6.25am (Thursday 2 August 2018), a man entered the service station on Cobra Street and threatened the female console operator with a small axe and demanded cash.

The console operator complied with the demand and was also forced to handover her mobile phone.

The man left the store and was last seen south on Fitzroy Street.

Police would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist the investigation.

He is described as being of Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander appearance with a thin build, 170 to 180cm tall and possibly unshaven.

The man was last seen wearing a hooded jumper and dark-coloured track pants.

CCTV images have been release as police continue to investigating an aggravated robbery at Kadina last week.

About 8am on Friday 20 July a man entered the service station on Frances Terrace and threatened staff before demanding cash.

The suspect ran off with an amount of cash and was last seen running towards Digby Street. Thankfully there were no physical injuries and no weapons were sighted.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall with a slim build. He was tan pants, a black jacket with a white motif over the top of a grey hooded jumper, a grey cap and beige and white sneakers.
