Police are investigating after a bottle shop was robbed in Currumbin Waters yesterday.
Officers were called to the Bienvenue Drive store shortly after 7.30pm following reports that a person had entered the store and produced a firearm.
The person made demands before fleeing the scene on foot with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes. The person was was seen entering a small white car.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
The person is described as Caucasian in appearance and around 170cm tall and was last seen wearing dark coloured clothing and a black balaclava.
Investigations are continuing.
Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred overnight at a service station in Slacks Creek.
Around 11.20pm, three men entered a service station on the Pacific Motorway and two of them produced knifes.
They made demands for cash and cigarettes and when the attendant complied, they fled the scene with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.
No one was injured as a result of the robbery.
Police believe that this robbery is linked to a robbery that occurred at a service station in Windaroo on February 7.
Police are investigating after three males robbed a service station at Windaroo overnight.
A 11.40pm three males entered the Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road business and threatened the attendant with a star picket and a piece of wood, demanding cash.
They left with a sum of cash and were last seen running on Bannockburn Road.
The three males are described as medium build, 175cm tall and wearing dark clothing.

Police have charged a 23-year-old man following investigations into the alleged armed robbery of a service station in Rockhampton on Sunday.
Police will allege at around 12.10 am, a man walked into the Gladstone Road business with what is believed to be a handgun and demanded money and goods.
He allegedly left the address on foot with a sum of cash and was last seen on a street adjacent to the service station.
The Allentown man was charged with one count each of: enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence; common assault; armed robbery; drive unlicensed; supply dangerous drugs; and possessing explosives without authority.
He is due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court later today.

It will be alleged around 9.00 am a woman entered the Drayton Road store armed with a star picket and demanded cash. The woman has hit a female staff member with the star picket to the left side of her face.
The woman fled the store with a quantity of cash.
Police attended and a woman was apprehended a short distance away in possession of cash and a star picket.
The staff member received bruising and an abrasion to the face.
A 19-year-old Newtown woman has been charged with one count each of armed robbery, assault occasioning bodily harm and enter premises with intent.
She will appear at the Toowoomba Magistrates Court today, February 6.

At 5.15am, police will allege a man armed with an axe entered a petrol station on Ferry Street and made demands for cash.

Police are investigating after a convenience store at Kangaroo Point was robbed overnight.
At 3.20am two male teenagers entered the Main Street store and threatened a staff member with a knife demanding cash and cigarettes.
The staff member complied, and the youths fled on foot.
They are both described as male teenagers about 16 years old, Caucasian, slim build and wearing dark clothing. One is about 160cm tall and the other is 180cm tall.
Police are appealing for anyone in the area with dashcam vision to contact police.
The staff member was not physically injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
Detectives from the Mackay have charged a man overnight with a number of robbery offences that have occurred in the Mackay District in the past few months.
The two armed robberies occurred at a supermarket on Bridge Road on December 12 last year and on January 15, 2019.
The attempted armed robbery occurred at a service station on Sydney Street on January 15.
The man has also been charged after a vehicle was stolen from an address on Barber Drive in Eimeo on January 14 which was located burnt out the next day at Blacks Beach.
A 24-year-old man has been charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count each of attempted armed robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and arson.
He is due to appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court today.
