Police are investigating after two men armed with knives stole cash from an Inala bakery this morning.
The men entered the Biota Street business around 4.30am where they threatened four male employees – three men aged in their 40s and a 19-year-old man – before fleeing on foot with a sum of cash.
They are both described as Caucasian, aged around 20, approximately 170cms tall, and were wearing long sleeved track suits with material covering their faces.
A man has been charged after a pizza delivery driver was robbed in Calamvale on Monday.
It will be alleged at 8.20pm, a 20-year-old man was delivering a pizza to an Alfred Street address when he was approached by a man armed with a knife.
The man allegedly demanded his takings, and left the scene with a quantity of cash and a pizza.
No-one was physically injured.
A 20-year-old Calamvale man has since been arrested and charged with armed robbery, possessing anything used in the commission of crime, contravene direction and failure to appear in accordance with undertaking.
He is due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court this morning (September 27).
Police are investigating a robbery at a business in Hewett last night.
Just after 7.15pm, Saturday 23 September, police were called to a shop on Kingfisher Drive after a man and a woman wearing masks and hooded jumpers threatened staff. The pair got away with an amount of cash and cigarettes before driving off in a dark grey BMW X5, believed to be displaying stolen number plates ‘S765AZM’.
No one was physically injured.
The woman is described as 172cm tall, about 80kgs of medium build with two tone coloured hair (blonde and brown). She was wearing a light green hooded jumper with a white Adidas logo, black Adidas track-pants with three white stripes running down the side and black gloves with grey writing on the knuckles.
The man is described as 170cm tall, about 70kgs of skinny build. He was wearing a grey jumper with black sleeves and a black ‘V’ logo or similar on the front, black pants with a red pin stripe running down the side and white sandshoes.

He then approached a staff member and allegedly indicated he was armed with a weapon before demanding the employee open the rear loading dock door.

Police have released a CCTV image today following an armed robbery in Sydney’s west.
About 8.20pm on Sunday 17 September 2017, police have been told a 27-year-old woman was followed by a man from Lidcombe Railway Station.
The man, armed with a knife, threatened the woman on nearby John Street and stole her handbag.
She was not injured during the incident and her handbag was later found in Maud Street, Lidcombe, with cash, a wallet and credit card missing.
Police attached to the Flemington Local Area Command attended the scene.
Investigators have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The man is described as being of African appearance, aged in his 20s, about 175cm tall and with a thin build. He is shown in the CCTV image wearing a white hooded jumper, knee-length shorts and yellow or orange sneakers.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with their investigation into an armed robbery of a business at Tallai late yesterday afternoon.
Initial inquires indicate at about 5pm a man has entered the Tallai Road store and threatened a staff member with a metal bar demanding cash.
The 17-year-old female staff member complied and the man left the store with a sum on cash.
The man is described as between 25 and 30 years old, Caucasian in appearance, medium build, 175cm tall with brown hair and facial stubble. He was wearing dark tracksuit pants and jumper with a black hat.
Police also believe the man could be connected to a white sedan (pictured) that was parked near the business.
Detectives from Sturt CIB have arrested a man after an investigation into a robbery at St Marys on Friday night.
Police will allege that about 5pm on Friday 8 September, a man stole items from an auto parts store on South Road. When he was confronted by staff members, he injured two of the staff with a knife.
The staff members suffered minor injuries.
On Saturday 9 September a 27-year-old man from O’Sullivan Beach was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and two counts of aggravated assault causing harm.
He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police are investigating after an attempted armed robbery in Moree this morning.
Police have been told a man entered a newsagency on Gosport Street about 7am (Sunday 10 September 2017), and threatened an employee at the front counter with a knife.
The man was then confronted by another employee who heard the confrontation. He then left the store running across Gosport Street towards the Newell Highway.
Officers from Barwon Local Area Command are investigating the incident and wish to speak to a man who they believe can assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as being quite tall with a large build. He was seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, black track pants and black runners with white soles.
