Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery at an Earlville takeaway store early Saturday morning.
Just before 1am a man entered the Mulgrave Road shop armed with a knife.
He demanded cash from an employee before fleeing empty handed.
The man is described as being around 173cm tall with a muscular build and a tanned complexion.
Investigations are continuing.
