Detectives from Western Adelaide Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the serious assault of a man which occurred earlier this morning at Semaphore.
At about 1.00am the victim was involved in an altercation with a group of people near the Palais Hotel when he was stabbed in the back.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The only description of the people is they were male and female and were of aboriginal appearance
