Police are investigating an armed robbery at a bottle shop on Musgrave Street at Coolangatta tonight.

Around 7.35pm a man armed with a knife entered the store and demanded cash from the male attendant. The man then fled the store on foot with cash down Lord Street.

The man is described as being Caucasian, around 175cm tall with blue eyes and dark hairy arms. He was wearing a blue hoodie with white lining and shorts.
