Police are appealing to the community for information following an alleged armed robbery in Sydney’s south-west.

 About 2.15pm yesterday (Thursday 4 August 2011), a 32-year-old man was walking in The Crescent at Fairfield, when he was allegedly approached by three males in a Holden Commodore.

 Two males got out of the car and allegedly threatened the man with a knife.

 They then stole his wallet and phone.

 Both males got back into the car which was last seen heading towards Hamilton Road.

Police are now searching for three males who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

 

The first male has been described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 25 years old, solid build, 190cm tall, with a shaved head and goatee. At the time of the incident he was wearing a red t-shirt and black tracksuit pants.

 

The second male has been described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 22 years old, slim build, 173cm tall, with long brown curly hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black t-shirt and black tracksuit pants.

 The third male has been described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 25 years old, medium build, 190cm tall, with black curly hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black t-shirt and red tracksuit pants.

 The men were seen to leave in a red Holden Commodore sedan.

 Police from Fairfield Local Area command have commenced an investigation into the incident.
