Police are re-appealing for information following an alleged armed robbery in the Central Coast last month.
Just after 9.30am (Monday 4 July 2011), a Subaru Outback station wagon reversed through a front window and into the foyer of a bowling club on Springwood Avenue, Ettalong.
A man, who was allegedly armed with a firearm, exited the vehicle and threatened a 53-year-old female employee before demanding cash.
Whilst this was happening, a second man remained in the car. After obtaining an amount of cash the armed man returned to the car and both men drove from the scene.
The employee did not suffer any injuries as a result of the incident.
Police attended the location and conducted a canvass of the area; however the alleged offender could not be located.
The Subaru, which was confirmed as being stolen, was located on fire in a nearby laneway a short time later. The fire was extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW and the vehicle was seized by police for forensic examination.
Police are searching for two men they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries into the incident.
The first is described as being of Caucasian in appearance of slim build and 170cm tall and aged between 20 to 30-years-old. At the time he was wearing black tracksuit pants and a dark hooded jacket and a balaclava.
The second man is described as being of Caucasian in appearance of slim build and aged between 17 and 22-years-old with short brown hair. At the time he was wearing a black hooded jumper and board shorts.
