Police are seeking public assistance in locating two men who allegedly robbed a man at the Lutwyche Cemetery on Monday.

Just before 4.30pm it is alleged the man was walking through the Lutwyche Cemetery on Gympie Road when he was approached by a man who allegedly threatened him with a weapon.

A second man approached the victim from behind and grabbed the victim’s backpack, stealing an ipod and tobacco before the two fled towards Gympie Road.

Police are searching for two men, one described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, 180cms with a proportionate build, black hair and brown eyes.

The other man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 178cms with a proportionate build and blonde hair.
