August 12, 2011 – Glassing – Nightclub – Surfers Paradise

Police have charged a 24-year-old Mermaid Waters man after an incident in a Surfers Paradise nightclub early this morning.

It is alleged around 1.30am, two men, a 23-year-old and a 20-year-old, were struck in the face with a glass bottle at the Cavill Avenue premises.

Both men were transported to Gold Coast Hospital suffering serious facial injuries.

The 24-year-old will appear in Southport Magistrates Court today charged with grievous bodily harm.
