Police are searching for two men who robbed a convenience store in Mount Gravatt early this morning.

Just before 4am, two men entered the store, and one threatened a male employee with a knife.

The employee handed over cigarettes and a sum of cash before they fled on foot.

One man is described as being in his mid 20s, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance and approximately 183cm tall. He was wearing black sunglasses, black beanie, a zip up jacket and black pants.

The other man is described as being in his mid 20s, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance and approximately 173cm tall. He was wearing a grey and black striped hooded jumper with black and white striped knee-length shorts and black gloves.

Police investigations are continuing.
