Darebin detectives are appealing for information following an attempted robbery at Bundoora on 29 August.
Police have been told a 25-year-old man was walking on Kingsbury Drive near Plenty Road when he was approached by three men sometime between 8pm and 8.30pm.
The group of males described as African in appearance, attempted to grab the man’s wallet and bags before one of them struck the man to his head.
It’s believed the offenders fled the scene when the victim started yelling for assistance.
The offenders are all described as African in appearance, aged in their early 20s, approximately 170cm tall with a slim build.
They were all wearing hoodies, tight pants with blue and white striped sports similar to canvas shoes. One offender was wearing a distinctive top with the number 13 on the front.
Investigators have released images of the men that may assist with their enquiries.
