September 20, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Fast Food Store – Nerang

Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a fast food store at Nerang last night.
Around 11 a male employee from the Mortensen Road store was cleaning the exterior of the building when he was confronted by a man stating he was armed with a knife.
The employee ran to safety at a nearby business and was not injured during the incident.
The man attempted to access a car belonging to the fast food store before he ran away.
He is described as being 185cm tall and of average build. He was wearing a light coloured jacket, black trousers, a baseball cap and glasses.
